You’ve never seen a travel show quite like this one.
At OutsideOnly, we’re trying something different. Live streaming our adventures means you can take a tour of the Taj Mahal, interact with the tour guide in real time, and never leave the comfort of your couch. It means that you can come along with us as we gallivant across India in a glorified lawn mower, experiencing every hurdle that the Rickshaw Run throws our way. Streaming our travels means that you’ll never miss a moment with this ragtag group of globetrotters:
Meet Our Team
Casey
The Planner
This Californian has been on somewhat of a travel bender for the last few years, a passport stamping spree that has taken him to twenty-two countries. These travels have included some truly remarkable adventures, like that time he wrecked his rental car in Ireland (don't worry, no Guinness was spilled in the process). Or how about that time that he crashed his ATV in Mexico (¡Ay Caramba!), or that time he nearly died on the back of a motorcycle in Vietnam? Needless to say, Casey is really looking forward to driving in India. Casey studied film at UC Davis and (briefly) at UCLA, gaining knowledge that he hopes to put to use producing high quality video coverage of the upcoming adventure. When he isn't traveling, Casey can be found shaping the future of America in the classroom, teaching any manner of subjects, so long as it isn't driver's education.
Boris
The Muscle
What's six-foot-four and built like a bear? It's Boris! Everyone's favorite Romanian is a monster of a man, but that’s to be expected when you’re born and raised in Transylvania. This distant cousin of Dracula packs the same bite if need be, but usually has a much sunnier disposition. Boris graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Managerial Economics, and honed his business skills while working in Silicon Valley.
Hopefully he can use his shrewd business skills to negotiate a win for us, or at the very least some bling for the rickshaw.
Cody
The Mechanic
So much to say about Cody, so little time. Drafted by the Florida Marlins out of high school, this Texas resident has since swapped his bat for a blowtorch. Working for the prestigious Ion Art studio in Austin, Cody's prowess as a metal worker is unmatched, and his calloused hands have given rise to some truly spectacular creations over the years. In many ways, his creativity is matched only by his kindness, and a big, goofy grin seems to be a permanently fixed to his face. Newly married, his beautiful wife has been gracious enough to allow us to borrow her husband for a few weeks. We promise to bring him back in one piece.
Garrett
The Guy in a Chair
All good adventurers need an eye in the sky, a guy in a chair, someone to oversee the action and make sure that things are going smoothly. Garrett is that man. A professional video editor and a mastermind in front of the keyboard, Garrett is our safety line, keeping us tied to the real world, while also dragging us out of trouble should it arise.
